Aaron Dumas, Tennessee man wanted for murder, shoots 2 police officers, later found dead in bathtub
Timothy Jackson and Paul Hutchinson are the two police officers injured in a shootout with a murder suspect in Memphis, Tennessee who was later found dead in the bathtub of the home.

Aaron Dumas
Aaron Dumas, age 32, was being sought in connection to the murder of his ex-girlfriend Angelique White and her brother, Christopher White.
Police say Dumas barricaded himself inside a house, shooting and injuring two police officers.
After a “chemical agent” was launched inside to get Dumas out of the home, Dumas set fire to the house and was found dead in a bathtub.
The wounded officers were described as stable with gunshot wounds in their legs. Jackson was released from the hospital Tuesday night.
“This has been very hard,” Bonita White, the victims’ mother, told NBC station WMC of Memphis on Monday. “It’s been something I had envisioned (and) had dreams about for 3½ years.”
White said that there had been a disturbance involving Dumas two weeks ago but that her daughter chose not to press charges — even though she said Dumas had made threats to kill the family before.
Kaye Wonderhouse,
MA’AM, I DO NOT KNOW THE TIME IN WHICH YOU POSTED YOUR ARTICLE. BUT, AT 4:30 AM, MEMPHIS NEWS REPORTED Angelique- AND Christopher White WERE “STABLE” AT Memphis’ Regional Medical Center.
THE CRIME SCENE IS STILL BEING PROCESSED. IT RAINED TODAY IN MEMPHIS AND THE REPORTER ON THE SCENE STATED YOU CAN STILL SMELL THE SMOKE FROM THE BURNED HOUSE.

PROBABLY LIKE OTHER CITIES, MEMPHIS’ ABC-, CBS-, FOX- AND NBC-AFFILIATES ARE IN GREAT COMPETITION FOR VIEWERSHIP.
I HAVE SEEN REPORTS ON THIS STORY ON WHBQ-TV [Fox] AND WREG-TV [CBS]. AND, THIS STORY IS NOT TOLD IN THE SAME WAY ON THE DIFFERENT STATIONS. AS FAR AS I KNOW, WREG INTERVIEWED RELATIVES[?]/ASSOCIATES OF The Whites; WHBQ INTERVIEWED LAW ENFORCEMENT; AND, WMC-TV SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY STATION WHICH INTERVIEWED THE VICTIM’S MOTHER, Bonita White. AS CUSTOMARY, THE POLICE OFFICERS INVOLVED ARE ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE [WITH PAY].
