‘X-Men’ star January Jones joins Ed Harris in ‘Sweetwater’ drama

Ed Harris (“Rock”, “Apollo 13”) and January Jones (“X-Men: First Class”) have signed for the revenge thriller “Sweetwater”, directed by twins Logan and Noah Miller.

Deadline reports the production will begin this July in New Mexico.

Jones starred as the sexy, seductive mutant Emma Frost in Matthew Vaughn’s “X-Men” film last summer.

Harris reunites with the Millers, working on their directional debut, 2008’s “Touching Home,” which was an autobiographical film. The Millers’ father was homeless and died in jail. Harris was essential in getting the project off of the ground as a dedication to deceased father.

Harris is juggling two other projects at the moment: “The Look of Love” (Robin Williams, Annette Bening) and Michael Bay’s “Pain and Gain”.

No other details were released at this time, but a 2013 release date seems likely.
