‘X-Men Apocalypse’ Super Bowl ad reveals Olivia Munn’s Psylocke in action
Fans got a ton of new and exciting footage in the X-Men: Apocalypse Super Bowl spot, including a few shots of newcomers Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Tye Sheridan as Jean Grey, Storm and Cyclops in action.
This also debuted the first look at Olivia Munn‘s Psylocke, which is certain to please fans of the character and comic books. Check out the full trailer below.
Director Bryan Singer returns yet again, following up X-Men: Days of Future Past with the dark and destructive tale surrounding Apocalypse, played by Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Oscar Isaac.
“The end of the movie becomes an all-out battle with a force that’s very formidable. He’s a hard man to break, Apocalypse. It’s why he thinks he’s God,” Singer told Empire magazine.
Ben Hardy as Archangel and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler joins the all star cast of Michael Fassbender, who reprises his role of Magneto and James McAvoy as Professor X with Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.
Apocalypse also stars Lucas Till (Havok), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira) and Evan Peters as Quicksilver with a rumored appearance by Hugh Jackman.
X-Men: Apocalypse arrives in theaters on May 27, 2016.
