WWE Smackdown Live Results and Review November 6 2018 : Bowen’s Botches and Bodyslams

WWE Smackdown Live is from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Shane McMahon obtained a controversial victory in the final round of the WWE World Cup at Crown Jewel, and we will surely see him tonight. The New Day will face The Usos, Rey Mysterio will face Andrade “Cien” Almas, and Jeff Hardy will face Samoa Joe.

The Miz separates them, Bryan attacks Miz, Shane McMahon tries to stop Bryan and is tossed. Bryan leaves up the ramp in anger. Smackdown Men’s Survivor Series Team: The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe

Botches

  • Shane McMahon was rumored to be making a heel turn from Crown Jewel, so his humility and refusal to be called The Best In The World probably came as a surprise to some. But regardless of his alignment he should not be in the Survivor Series match. Smackdown has a roster of great talent deeper than they have television time to accommodate. His role in this story isn’t important enough to have him take that spot in the match from the likes of Jeff Hardy, Rusev, or Randy Orton.
  • Daniel Bryan put The Miz in the position of being the more reasonable and responsible person. This must be more of the belief that there is no such thing as heels and babyfaces anymore. The result is everyone is just a different shade of scoundrel.

Bodyslams

  • The New Day and The Usos put on another match that blew the house up. These two teams produce greatness in the ring together, and the end of the match was perfect.
  • Becky Lynch delivered one of the best promos of the year on WWE television, and Nikki Cross made her main roster debut.
  • Rey Mysterio and Andrade “Cien” Almas were magical in the ring together.

This episode of Smackdown Live had multiple moments that could become legend. The New Day and The Usos coming together in mutual respect to join forces, Becky Lynch calling out Ronda Rousey with a masterful microphone performance, Mysterio and Almas in the ring together in WWE, and Daniel Bryan being the one who is out of control and unreasonable in a pairing with The Miz. Another week where Smackdown is better than RAW, and both of the male singles champions were only there in pre-recorded clips. Smackdown has a strong talent roster than can make a great show, which only makes my point about Shane McMahon more salient.
