Seth Rollins’ Decision for Wrestlemania Match

Botches

  • We were in the middle of a month of Bobby Lashley beating up Finn Balor when RAW hit its all time ratings low. Going back to a storyline that was going nowhere to bury the fan favorite seems like a bad idea.
  • Ronda Rousey’s promo was again weak, and the crowd did not respond well for her. With the fans already siding with Becky Lynch, Rousey is quickly losing fan support.
  • The complete absence of all NXT callups was disappointing.

Bodyslams

  • Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose was a better match than when they faced off at TLC with less time.
  • Becky Lynch is still at the peak of her game and resting atop the industry.

This felt too much like a normal episode of RAW for the show following the Royal Rumble. With a new crop of NXT stars promoted recently, their absence was noticable and disappointing. EC3 has yet to have a match on the main roster, and this seemed like the perfect time. The NXT standout Aleister Black also would have been nice to see. Instead were were given a show going through the motions of explaining the results of the Royal Rumble and bringing back old matchups. The night had its highlights, and Becky Lynch was fantastic as always. But for the most part this felt like three hours of missed opportunity.
