WWE Monday Night RAW Results September 9 2019

WWE Monday Night RAW is live from Madison Square Garden New York, New York. Stone Cold Steve Austin returns to mediate the contract signing for the WWE Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions, where Seth Rollins will defend the title against his tag team partner and fellow RAW Tag Team Champion Braun Strowman. The Semifinal Triple Threat Match in the King of the Ring Tournament between Ricochet, Samoa Joe, and Baron Corbin will determine who will move on to represent RAW at Clash of Champions. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will face Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks in a tag team match. And Rey Mysterio will return to the ring and square off against Gran Metalik.

WWE Universal Championship Match Contract Signing

Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out first and gets on the microphone to fire up the crowd. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman come down and sign the contract, and The OC come out to the stage. AJ Styles tells Steve Austin this has nothing to do with him, just Rollins and Strowman. Styles and Austin engage in an epic promo with the crowd on fire. Ultimately Rollins and Strowman attack The OC. Whens Styles avoid The Stomp from Rollins, it leaves him alone in the ring with Steve Austin, who delivers a Stunner to Styles. Austin then drinks some beer and makes his exit.

Cedric Alexander wins by Disqualification when The OC attack him. As all three men beat on Alexander, The Viking Raiders come out and attack The OC, clearing out all three man and finishing off Karl Anderson with The Viking Experience.

Charlotte Flair wins by Pinfall over Bayley after Natural Selection.

 

The OC, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode Backstage

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode approach an angry group in The OC and make an alliance based on their mutual enemies.

 

Rey Mysterio vs. Gran Metalik

Rey Mysterio wins by Pinfall after the Frog Splash.

Baron Corbin wins by Pinfall over Samoa Joe after Ricochet delivered the 630 but Corbin tossed him into the crowd before the pin.

Natalya wins by Submission with the Sharpshooter.

 

24/7 Championship

Former NY Knicks Star Enes Kanter defeated R-Truth by Pinfall to become 24/7 Champion and then revealed to the New York audience his new Boston Celtics jersey. R-Truth then defeated Kanter by Pinfall to win the 24/7 Championship back. R-Truth is then chased through the crowd by Drake Maverick and others seeking the title.

Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Cedric Alexander, and Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, and The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson)

Cedric Alexander wins by Pinfall over AJ Styles after the Lumbar Check. Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out after the match and drinks beer with the winning team.
