Wrestling icon, ‘The Ultimate Warrior’, dead at 54
The Ultimate Warrior has died, three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame..
The face-painted, long-locked Ultimate Warrior, who in the 80’s defeated Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI has passed away, according to a news release from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Tuesday.
54-year-old Jim Hellwig, who brought the “Warrior” to life in 1987, died from a yet undisclosed cause.
WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans.
Warrior is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.
The death of the Warrior brought an immediate response on his website One Warrior Nation (O.W.N.):
