Will there be a ‘shortest man’ controversy? Edward Nino Hernandez, Junrey Balawing, Khagendra Thapa Magar

With the “crowning” of 27 inch Columbian, Edward Nino Hernandez as Guinness’ worlds shortest man earlier this month, there are others in the wings who may want to claim that title very soon.

Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal is expected to take the title when he turns 18 in October. Khagendra is reportedly 22 inches tall.

Now there is another 22 incher out of the Philippines comes Junrey Balawing of Zamboanga del Norte.

At the time of this reporting, Balawing has yet to contact Guinness but this of course could change. Is this a potential large controversy in the world of smallest men?

Time will tell.

UPDATE: No controversy, when Balawing turned 18, he was officially made the new SHORTEST MAN – HERE
