Wilfred Njoroge identified as man found dead near 10 Freeway, police searching for his family
The body found on the north side of the Colton Railroad Receiving Yard, just south of the 10 Freeway in Bloomington, between Sierra Avenue and Cedar Avenue, has been identified as Wilfred Ngugi Njoroge.
The San Bernardino County’s Coroner’s Office identified Njoroge, 68, who is also known as Wilfred Njoroge Ngugi, was found dead Friday afternoon at about 2 p.m. They didn’t list the cause of death and appealed to the public for help searching for the man’s family.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Cindy Bachman said no arrests have been made. Officials state he is a transient from the Montclair area, with an online search revealed cities Pomona and Covina.
The investigation is being conducted by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
