Wild turkeys attack cars on Connecticut highway VIDEO
Marcos Carreras, of Farmington, Connecticut caught a turkey attack on video.
Carreras was on his way to work at Kingswood Oxford School on Wednesday morning when one menacing turkey he refers to as “Frankenturkey” went after one car, then came right up to his driver’s side window and actually pecked the door.
According to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, there are an estimated 35,000 wild turkeys in all 169 towns in the state.
It is unusual for turkeys to be aggressive, especially in the fall, Michael Gregonis, a wildlife biologist with DEEP, said.
