Vivian Vosburg, mother of Guadalupe Shaw, arrested on child abuse charges SHOCKING VIDEO
The mother of Guadalupe Shaw, one of the girls facing charges in connection to the bullying suicide of Rebecca Sedwick, has also been arrested herself.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Vivian Vosburg, age 30, is charged with two counts of child abuse with bodily harm and four counts of child neglect.
Sheriff Grady Judd showed cell phone video in a press conference Friday afternoon depicting Vosburg viciously punching two children involved in a fight inside of a residence.
Judd confirmed Vosburg has confessed to being the woman in the video who is punching one child in the face with her fist.
“After we showed her the video of about she at least hit this one kid at least 10 times in the back and in the head with her fits she admitted well I did go too far that day,” he said.
Investigators say Vosburg’s arrest is not connected to the October 14 arrest of her 14-year-old daughter, Guadalupe Shaw.
Shaw and 12-year-old Katelyn Roman face charges of felony aggravated stalking. Deputies say the two girls bullied Rebecca Sedwick to the point that Rebecca killed herself by jumping off a building last month.
The video was originally uploaded on Facebook.
