UK: Pedophile Oliver Horwood working at McDonald’s, caught serving Happy Meals to kids

A convicted pedophile was caught serving children at a McDonald’s in the United Kingdom just days after being released from prison.

Oliver Horwood, 20, was identified at the popular fast food restaurant, witnessed serving Happy Meals to children at the Gravesend, Kent location.

The Sun broke the news and when a reporter confronted the man, Horwood initially said: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, mate.” They published photos of Horwood serving the food to kids, families.

Parents were outrage and Horwood was immediately fired. One parent spoke to the press confirmed that they saw Horwood serving Despicable Me 3 themed lunchboxes to children and the Daily Mail reports that his “employers ‘know everything’ about his sordid past.”

The man as jailed for 16 months last year after admitting sex crimes against underage girls. He had confessed to inciting one child into sexual activity and soliciting child prostitution or pornography .

He also plead guilty to making indecent images of children, after Kent Police found 19 still photographs and two movie clips on his computer after his arrest last year.

Horwood told the Sun: ‘I went to prison, yes. What does it matter?’

McDonald’s launched an investigation into the hiring and background checking process. Horwood insisted McDonald’s “know everything.”

Horwood’s name was ordered to appear on the sex offenders’ register a sexual harm prevention order was made, both for 10 years.
