‘True Blood’ season 7 will begin with episode directed by star Stephen Moyer
True Blood season 7′s premiere episode will be directed by the show’s lead star Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton.
HBO isn’t shocking any fans with the news as this will be the third episode directed by Moyer and seems fitting as season 7 will be the final run for the popular vampire show.
Moyer directed the season 6 premiere episode titled “Who Are You, Really?” as well as season 5, episode 8 “Somebody That I Used To Know.”
Production is set to begin in January with only ten total episodes set for the final season.
Bailey Noble, who plays Andy’s daughter Adilyn Bellefleur, has been promoted to series regular and is expected to appear in most of season 7’s ten episodes.
“Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show,” HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo said at the announcement the show was ending.
True Blood season 7 is expected to premiere on HBO in June 2014.
