‘Tomb Raider’ reboot planned for 2013 release

Heat Vision confirms rumors that the “Tomb Raider” franchise will find a reboot a in 2013.

GK Films have just acquired the feature film rights to the Tomb Raider video game, and producer Graham King (“The Departed”) is planning on retooling the franchise.

From HV: “The heroine of one of the biggest video games from the 1990s is once again getting the movie treatment, this time from heavyweight producer Graham King and his GK Films…But sources say GK Films, which has not hired a writer yet, may be looking to do a Lara Croft origin story rather continue her adventures.

According to GK Films, the goal is to “create daring new adventures for the young and dynamic Lara Croft.”

An origin story would make sense.

My first effort at “blogging” before it was called “blogging” was a Pop Culture, Comic Book column at CrazedFanboy.com.

A lot sure has changed since these days.

Due to the support/pressure from my DOB comrades, Splash Page was resurrected to publish Pop Culture topics and the “State of the Nation” will continue to deal with politics and heavy issues. READ ALL OF BRANDON’S POSTS HERE
