Tom Mison on ‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 after action packed season 2 finale
Fox may not have confirmed a Sleepy Hollow season 3, but fans loved the season 2 finale and star Tom Mison spoke about what could possibly be coming next.
The Sleepy Hollow season two finale had Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) was transported back to the 18th century, where she was immediately imprisoned for failing to produce free papers for the colonial soldiers occupying Sleepy Hollow at the time. Abbie’s attempt to Katrina Crane (Katia Winter) from attempting to kill her husband, Ichabod (Mison) in order to stop his resurrection in the modern day, uprooted history and led to the murder of Benjamin Frankin by the Headless Horseman (Abraham at this point in time).
“If we do get a third season, it would definitely be a reboot,” Mison teased to TVLine . “It certainly felt, after watching [the finale], particularly the last 20 minutes of it, it certainly felt like we’ve acknowledged the show that everyone loved, and we can still do it.”
“If there is no third season, then it certainly feels like ending it on a high and rounding it off nicely” adding that there are “still lots of exciting stories” for Sleepy Hollow to tell in future seasons.
On Crane himself, Mison loves to see the character internalize his emotions to fight darkness, so expect more of this. “I don’t think he’s the kind to do that, actually. I don’t think he would want anyone to see how much he’s hurting. He would want to get on with it. They made a choice. Henry and Katrina made their decision to turn dark. Abbie and Ichabod made their decision to fight against it, and that’s the decision and we’re going to go with, and I’m going to be strong and we’ve got other battles to fight. This is what I’d like to see: him put a lid on it and let those emotions just bubble underneath. Much like we saw in Season 1 when he was so eager to hide his emotions and then there’d just be outbursts, like when he went completely nuts against the scarecrow root monster. And, I guess, the built-up tension that let him go nuts on Solomon Kent in this season. Little bursts of uncontrollable violence, because he’s trying to keep everything under wraps.

Please bring Sleepy Hollow back for a third, fourth,fifth,etc season. I am totally hooked! Fox seems to cancel too many great shows, what’s up with that?

Sleepy Hollow is a great show, and Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny, are great, as are the other cast members. Please renew for another season, or seven:)
Please return to continuous story lines. Too many interesting characters are dropped (Abbie’s old boyfriend who was jealous of Ichabod, the seamstress from the re-enactment. Bring these people back from time to time.
But most of all, we want the great stories wth Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny
