Tom Hiddleston says ‘Thor: The Dark World’ is ‘fantastic’ and ‘amazing film’

Onhand as a judge for the Jameson Empire Done In 60 Seconds short film competition Tom Hiddleston talked briefly with Belfast Telegraph about “Thor: The Dark World” in an article published Tuesday.

Tom hiddleston as Loki in THOR“It’s fantastic, truly. We are making an amazing film, and we’re having a wonderful time,” he teased.

“It’s so exciting to have established characters and an established setting in the world, and we are working so hard to cook up something new.”

Judging the short films at the competition, Hiddleston looks ahead to returning as Loki in a film set more in Asgard.

“That is what is exciting me – taking what we know, taking what we love and deepening it and giving it an extra dimension. I think director Alan Taylor is really shaping up the world of Asgard and the world of these characters,” he added.

“Thor: The Dark World” returns the cast from the first film, with Christopher Eccleston being cast as the villain Malekith, a dark elf.

The film arrives in theaters November 8, 2013.
