Tom Hardy talks ‘Mad Max’ as ‘Fury Road’ wraps
Tom Hardy attended the “Jack Reacher” premiere in London as a prelude to the official statement that production on “Mad Max Fury Road” has wrapped.
George Miller’s reboot of the “Mad Max” reportedly wrapped with principal photography, which will feature the “Dark Knight Rises” star as Max Rockatansky, the role made famous by Mel Gibson. “It was an amazing experience. It’s a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level.”
He confirmed the wrap as well saying “It looks incredible.”
“It’s an amazing opportunity of a lifetime for an actor…to work with George Miller and to work in such an iconic role.”

Fury Road follows Mad Max (Hardy), who is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), according to a report by South Africa’s National Film & Video Foundation.
Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (Mad Max, Sleeping Beauty) as Immortan Joe; and Nathan Jones (Conan the Barbarian) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, Zoe Kravitz (X-Men: First Class) plays Toast, Riley Keough (Magic Mike) is Capable, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) is Splendid.
They are joined by supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw as The Dag and Courtney Eaton as Fragile, both of whom are making their big screen debuts. Also featured in the movie are Josh Helman as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior.
