Thousands march for the environment, leave trash behind PHOTOS

Tens of thousands of activists walked through Manhattan on Sunday, warning that climate change is destroying the Earth. Many of the demonstrators urged policymakers to take quick action, but left behind a blemish on their arguemt – a ton of trash.

Critics were quick to point out the hypocrisy of protesters not only using stryofoam cups or aluminum cans, but most importantly, the demonstrator left a ton of trash all over New York.

Whether you believe in global warming or not, one thing certainly doesn’t help the environmentalists’ cause: ruining the environment.

I’ll gladly stand up and support your freedom of assembly and expression, but this is really frustrating for two main reasons: You don’t care as much as you say you do and it costs us all a ton of money to clean up your mess.

Queue the critics and attacks for the right wing – way to go protesters.
