Thomas Kretschmann to star as Argento’s ‘Dracula’
Screen Daily is sort of vague today, reporting Thomas Kretschmann (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, King Kong) will play “the lead” in Dario Argento’s 3D re-telling of Dracula.
Kretschmann is no stranger to Argento territory having starred in the director’s 1996 film The Stendhal Syndrome. He’ll reunite with that film’s star Asia Argento for Dracula, which also stars Marta Gastini (The Rite) and Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner) as Van Helsing.
