‘The Wedding Ringer’ review: Kevin Hart, Josh Gad deliver continuous laughs
Kevin Hart is back after the massively successful Ride Along film, in the romantic comedy The Wedding Ringer. Hart stars alongside Josh Gad, who voiced Olaf in Disney’s Frozen.
Doug Harris (played by Josh Gad) is in the mist of getting married to his fiancée Gretchen (played by Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting from The Big Bang Theory).
The only problem is Doug Harris doesn’t have a best man or groomsmen and is too ashamed to tell his fiancée the truth. In steps Jimmy Callahan aka Bic Mitchum (Hart) who specializes in helping people who have no friends. Jimmy has never had a client who needed 7 groomsmen.
The laughter just continues to unfold as Jimmy Callahan/Bic Mitchum attempts to recruit groomsmen for Doug’s wedding. Things only get funnier as the movie progresses as people pretend to be best friends with a person who they don’t even know.
I found the movie to be very entertaining from start to finish with some scenes being very hilarious!!!
The movie also has some touching moments as well as the characters friendships begin to bond as the movie progresses.
The Wedding Ringer is a very entertaining movie and Kevin Hart fans will not be disappointed. For those who enjoyed the movie I Love You Man will also find this move to be very entertaining as it has the same plot.
Directed by , the film also stars Alan Ritchson, Nicky Whelan, Olivia Thirlby, Mimi Rogers, Josh Peck, Jorge Garcia and Cloris Leachman.
Overall The Wedding Ringer receives 4 out of 5 stars
