The Truth of Genesis: The Idiocy of Atheism and the Clergy! Part One

What is idiocy?

It is defined as something usually offensive, extreme mental retardation, or something notably stupid or foolish.

What is Atheism?

Atheism is a religion of denial, having a disbelief in the existence of a Deity, and that there is nothing greater than “self”.

What is the practice of Atheism?

It is the interference of others in their recognition of a Deity.  Whenever idiots (Atheists) file a claim or grievance against prayer or any public recognition of a Deity, or object to any display of anything Biblical, they are practicing Atheism.

The following also includes the “dupes” that call themselves Agnostics.  What is an Agnostic?

It’s a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (such as God) is unknown and probably unknowable.  Also, it is a person who is not committed to believing in either the existence, or the nonexistence, of any Deity.

When evolutionists try to defend the non-sense of evolution, they often say that there are “mountains of evidence” that support their claims.

However, their “so called” evidence hardly amounts to a molehill, and has a different, more realistic explanation…, and I’m not talking about the irrelevant flood of Noah, as far as the fossil record is concerned.

There are two mountains in Saudi Arabia, called Mt. Sinai, and Mt. Horeb.  The local people call it Jebel el Lawz.  Pagan gentiles made the foolish mistake of trying to declare that Mt. Sinai was in the Sinai Peninsula.

When you look up “Mt. Sinai” on the internet, you will see that it says “a mountain in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt that is the traditional and most accepted identification of the biblical Mount Sinai”.  That is a big joke, and an example of gentile dishonesty and ignorance.  The Bible says that Mt. Sinai is in the land of Midian.

Mt. Sinai, and its sister mountain Mt. Horeb, were discovered in January of 1984 in Saudi Arabia by a man named Ron Wyatt, and his two sons.

Instead of me just telling you this, please go to the following site: http://www.wyattmuseum.com/mt-sinai.htm.

About the Author

- Herman Cummings is a computer data analyst, who used his training to analyze the written text of Genesis. On EasterSunday, in 1990, a lady stood up in Sunday School and asked the pastor “How can I teach my children about Adam & Eve, when all they are taught is evolution in school?”. The pastor could only say “Just believe the Bible”. That was of no help to the lady. So Herman Cummings began his research to resolve the issue, since the worlds of Creationism and Theology could not literally reconcile Genesis with scientific reality. After receiving the revelation of the first chapter from the Lord in December 1993, Herman Cummings became the world’s leading expert on the book of Genesis (Bereshit).

If a Christian were to file a grievance against the public recognition of Vishnu as a deity, wouldn’t they be practicing atheism, and therefore wouldn’t they also be an “idiot”?

  4. Karl says:

I guess I would define idiocy as covering the belief in a being with no proof of that beings existence. And to claim the the Jewish and/or Christian bibles are proof of his existence is to not only ignore the countless errors, exaggerations, falsehoods and flat out lies they contain, but you must then also accept they are no more ‘proof’ than tales of all other religions.

Believers want to claim their god was so peeved by a woman looking over her shoulder that he turned her to stone. Yet they have no answer for why their god allows countless women over time to abuse their own offspring. Or was Lot’s wife not allowed the ‘free will’ excuse (you) have come-up with to fill-in the holes?

They also believe in tales of a self-proclaimed messiah who is supposed to have overturned the tables of money changers, yet he’s done nothing about centuries of his representatives physically and sexually abusing others.

Time to grow out of the bedtime tales people.

I know nothing about “The Global Dispatch”. I just came here via Google News for an unrelated article. Why was this blog featured on the home page? Is there any editorial oversight at all here?

Herman Cummings has every right to be self-delusional, self-proclaimed expert. But it reflects extremely poorly on your publication. I have seen far, far better defenses of theism. If you need a defense, ask a theologian to write one; not some crazy bigot. I have seen high school students construct more coherent arguments than this tripe.

  7. Ron S. says:

Ron Wyatt was a fraud. He was a nurse anesthetist who gave that up for a career in globetrotting trying to find Noah’s ark and other biblical artifacts He reported that he did find many artifacts that proved the Bible is true. He also never did produce these artifacts because they were all confiscated by the Israeli government. How convenient.

Google Ron Wyatt and you will find that real archaeologists within Ron Wyatt’s own religion, Seventh-Day Adventists, disputed his claims.

See his wiki entry for more details. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Wyatt

Anyone who relies on Ron Wyatt for support of their claims is probably not well informed about anything.

  8. James Diekman says:

Atheism is not a religion. We do not have set ideas that we need to follow. And like Stan said, I don’t care what you believe, but your religion should not affect our laws, for example gay marriage. We fight for our right to not be corrupted by made up rules. And did you know that our founding fathers were mostly atheists or agnostics? This country is supposed to be a secular one, now we are one of the most christian nations. Please educate yourself before writting such bigoted garbage.

  9. tom sellec says:

Atheism is a disbelief in God claims. If you tell us your definition of a God, we won’t believe you without evidence.

That’s it. There’s no religion or religious dogma in atheism. It is the disbelief in your dogma.

  10. Ray says:

As a Bible believing Christian I disagree with most of the article as well.

Not sure what the writer’s point is.

If you are going to pick and choose pieces of the Bible to believe in – what is the point?

  11. Karenrmm says:

When I read nonsense like this, I can only say how proud I am to be an Atheist. I’ll never understand how an otherwise reasonable person can look at facts and then deny them because it conflicts with their own beliefs. It’s just staggeringly ignorant.

  12. Chris Weiss says:

Herman publishes the same nonsense over and over and over. The only person who supports this perspective is Herman. He claims not be a creationist, yet he says god created the world.

He is dissing everyone and revealing no new “truths.” His misunderstanding of evolutionary biology is profound.

  13. Dave Muscato, Public Relations DIrector, American Atheists says:

There are so many things incorrect about this article that I hardly know where to begin. We’ll start with the first few paragraphs. I looked in three dictionaries and all three of them said something along the lines of “extreme stupidity” or “stupid or foolish behavior” for idiocy. Nothing about offense. Where did you get your definition?

Similarly, as public relations director for American Atheists, I can tell you that your definition of atheism is not the one used by any self-identifying atheist that I have ever met. Atheism is not a religion, in fact it is entirely lacking of religion. It is not about denial, as that would indicate that there is a god and that atheists simply don’t recognize it. And atheists don’t necessarily think there’s nothing greater than themselves, either. Three for three you’re wrong about this.

Atheism is the lack of faith in the existence of any gods. That’s it. It’s not complicated. Atheists feel the same way about all gods as Christians do about all gods Yahweh. We feel the same way about Yahweh as you do about Zeus or Thor, except that we ALSO feel that way about Zeus and Thor too.

There are other things wrong with this article but I’ve got to run. To other people reading this, be skeptical and don’t believe everything you read.

    Thanks,

I love how this fool considers himself to be “The leading expert on the book of genesis”(bereshit)”. Sounds like a load of “bearshit” to me…
Hermann, you make it easy for atheists looking to prove that theists (such as you) are kooks.

  15. Joe Cogan says:

    “What is idiocy?”

This article is a prime example.

  16. Stan Boyett says:

    Sir,

    In your blog you state,

“What is the practice of Atheism?

It is the interference of others in their recognition of a Deity. Whenever idiots (Atheists) file a claim or grievance against prayer or any public recognition of a Deity, or object to any display of anything Biblical, they are practicing Atheism.”

I cannot speak for every atheist or agnostic in the world, but I can tell you that what you refer to as “interference” is a natural response from concerned citizens (including many people of “faith”) regarding the transgressions of religious radicals and fundamentalists into the secular political area.

For myself, I could not care less about what mythology or dogma you may claim to adhere to; that is…until you enter into the public and political arena to promote laws that would force or compel those who do not share your “belief” to conform their lives to standards and practices that are at odds with the tenets of a free society.

You may thank Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and others (including yourself) for this cultural war.

What you choose to believe is your business and your business alone. You do not have the right to force your beliefs on others…and you NEVER will!

    Regards,
    Stan Boyett
