‘The Silent War’ episode 3 released on YouTube
The third video in the eight-part video series, “The Silent War” has been released on the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Singapore You Tube page yesterday.
The third episode, titled “Making a Difference”, looks at the National Environmental Agency (NEA) vector control team and the battle against mosquito breeding sites.
According to the summary, “Persistent checks by the NEA vector control officers have not stopped the rise in dengue cases in Jurong West. Both the residents and the vector control team are frustrated. Team leader Andy has to come up with a new plan.”
The Silent War is an 8-episode reality web series about Singapore’s efforts to control the dengue outbreak in 2013. Join the National Environment Agency’s officers as they go house-to-house, indoors and outdoors, employing different strategies, to combat the dengue virus’ vector – the Aedes mosquito.
The video series is produced by Project Peanut for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Singapore.
