The ‘Piper’ is Back: Home Security Module now with Night Vision

Tiny packages usually bring in great news and Piper isn’t anything different. For the starters, Piper happens to be a conventional home security module, allowing one to keep a remote eye over the surrounding and proceedings, both inside and even across the sidewalks.

One might argue that security systems aren’t that elusive and paying a few bucks installs the best in business. So why go for the Piper!

Why the ‘Piper’

Reasons are many but the size and seamlessness lead the show. Piper happens to be pint-sized option for the careless keeper, literally. The size makes it a great catch as for the early adopters, having a hefty security system is more of an alarm in advance. Besides the size based flexibility, this module also pitches in a few allies in home automation and social interaction.

No it won’t be updating the WhatsApp status for you but connects multiple devices which can sync in whenever needed. It allows the user to stay connected to the home and the social circle alike over a single application. On the hardware front, the motion sensor picks in the nitty-gritty’s, sending out alarms in case of an invasion. Piper isn’t all menacing as it can transform into an intercom as well, when needed.

If all these weren’t enough to justify the purchase, night vision certainly sweetens the pot further.

Refurbished and Loaded

Considering this as the second stint for the Piper, the night vision is a taco worth chewing on to. What bulks out the structure is the array of specialized sensors and the rotational camera, spanning across the whole of 180 degrees.

So sit back and enjoy as the ‘NV’ tag justifies the faith in the gadget, revealing the vicinities in the darkest of conditions. Other perks include the beefed up camera resolution which records sharper videos with the 3.4MP sensor.

Piper isn’t just a great looking home security gadget but something beyond the usual. Loaded with sound and motion detection systems, Piper brings in a lot to the table, without even adding a lot to the real-estate. Be it the 105-decibel alarm which would go off in case of a breach or the hub connecting several devices along, this module adds to the authority, across the mobile platform.

Just go urban and control the home appliances with your mobile! Sounds incredibly simple and excruciatingly innovative, isn’t it!

The Price Tag

For all those who are looking to get inspired and make the purchase, Piper NV is now on sale at a paltry tag of $270, with varied color combinations in white or black to choose from. This pricing however includes the Night Vision attribute.

For the enlightened homes, the $200 model will work just fine. Accessories in door sensors and the Z-Wave Windows would cost an extra $50, for each.

Let trespassing be a myth with the revamped ‘Piper’ at your service.
