‘The Hangover part III’ will head to Tijuana

Director Todd Phillips and stars Bradley CooperZach GalifianakisEd Helms, and Justin Bartha were all game to return for one last entry in The Hangover franchise.

Plot details have been slim save for Galifianakis’ claim that “The Hangover Part III” would find the guys breaking Alan out of a mental hospital, but now reports have surfaced that suggest the film may not only find the Wolf Pack returning to Las Vegas, but also heading down south to Tijuana.

The Toronto Sun reports:

An insider close to the top secret sequel developments tells Life & Style magazine that director Todd Phillips will shoot much of the new film in Los Angeles and Las Vegas before taking castmates Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis south of the border into Mexico.

The two previous comedies were set in Las Vegas and Thailand.

Craig Mazin, who wrote the second pic, also wrote the screenplay for this final installment.

Filming will begin in September for a May 24, 2013 release date.
