‘The Flash’ film to film next year, ‘Logan’ writer added and planned 2020 release
Once called Flashpoint, the now Untitled Flash movie moves ahead with a new writer.
According to a new Production Weekly report, Seth Grahame-Smith will be getting a writing credit on the movie with new screenwriters Michael Green and Chris Brancato. Green is known for co-writing Fox’s fantastic Logan and the sci-fi film Blade Runner 2049, and the latter has had a hand in such projects as Narcos.
Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis-Daley were set to helm the movie, which was called Flashpoint during the 2017 SDCC, only to stall as Warner’s other DC projects disappointed at the box office.
Ezra Miller is set reprise his role as Barry Allen/Flash with Kiersey Clemons cast Iris, his love interest and future wife. Billy Crudup will play Barry’s dad, Henry. All of that said, most of the details are probably up in the air.
The Flash Movie is expected to begin filming in February around the Atlanta area.
