‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 return set for September in one-hour premiere
When The Big Bang Theory returns for season 7 this September, it will have a special premiere, a one hour special.
CBS announced on Monday that its hit comedy will expand to one hour during its premiere on Thursday, September 26, airing two original episodes back-to-back at 8 p.m.
The move seems designed to provide as strong a lead-in as possible to Robin Williams’ comeback comedy The Crazy Ones when it premieres at 9 p.m.
The move, adding the half-hour, bumps the series premiere of The Millers, Will Arnett’s new comedy, which will now premiere on October 3 at 8:30pm.
Early season 7 will feature “…Bernadette and Amy [Mayim Bialik] spend some time alone without Penny and take a little trip together. Kooth [Kunal Nayyar] can speak to women without alcohol now, so we’re poking at that,” says producer Steve Molaro.
While at comic-con the team joked about a wide range of cameos, from Zachary Quinto (who says he wants to appear on the show) to Arianna Huffington to Ron Jeremy and many, many more.
FIRST, I WILL “TOOT MY OWN HORN.” I CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT; AND, I AM QUITE FOND OF ANCIENT/MEDIEVAL EUROPE.
BUT, Jim Parsons “BUGS THE HECK-OUT-OF-ME” BECAUSE HIS CHARACTER, “Sheldon,” FITS A STEREOTYPE. A FEW MONTHS AGO, Towleroad – A HOMOSEXUAL WEBSITE – MADE A BIG DEAL OF Mr. Parsons’ “COMING-OUT.” BUT, TO PLAY THE ROLE OF A PHYSICIST IN CONJUNCTION WITH BEING HOMOSEXUAL IN REAL LIFE HAS DESTROYED “Sheldon’s” fan base. [Many heterosexuals believe male homosexuals have high intelligence]. IN OTHER WORDS, HETEROSEXUAL FANS OF “Big Bang Theory” VIEWED “Sheldon” AS AN ASEXUAL WHO COULD NOT GET A GIRLFRIEND. SO, IT IS SILLY FOR THIS SERIES TO CONTINUE SINCE Mr. Parsons’ “COVER HAS BEEN BLOWN.”
