Thai masseuse, Tata, brings costly face-slapping technique to San Francisco
You may never heard of, much less be able to pronounce Rassameesaitarn Wongsirodkul; however, she has brought her alternative to botox treatment to the San Franciso area.
Wongsirodkul, a.k.a. Tata, co-owner of Tata Massage in San Francisco’s Richmond District says her face slapping techique is an effective, 100% safe nethod for skin tightening and hopes to conquer this niche market by the Bay.
On her website, she advertises the techique as rigorous slapping, pinching and smoothing and as an alternative to chemical treatments like Botox.
According to an ABC News report, the procedure involves Tata, donning a hat adorned with plastic flowers, slinking around to Thai pop music and delivering a few quick blows. She then firmly pinches her client’s cheeks, and gives the client a few more hard slaps.
She learned the technique under famed Bangkok face-slapper, Kung Khemika, being only one of 10 students ever to learn the closely guarded, secret method.
What does it cost to be smacked around to get rid of your wrinkles? The bargain basement price of $350 for a single session.
Tata Massage opened Oct. 23, taking face slapping international.
