Teri Wyble talks ‘Walking Dead’ role, Officer Shepard and upcoming ‘Terminator Genisys’
Actress Teri Wyble has two exciting fanboy related roles, landing a spot on AMC’s The Walking Dead and fighting alongside John Connor in next summer’s Terminator: Genysis. Wyble spoke on Dispatch Radio about the Dead and the exciting roles.
Teri begins by revealing the audition process and how she was asked to audtion for a role as a “professional safe cracker,” but little did show know, she was trying out for TV’s biggest show. It’s rather amusing hearing her discuss the Walking Dead team, creators and working alongside “Andy” – star Andrew Lincoln.
She chronicles filming for the new Terminator film, getting a “little star struck” while working with Jason Clarke, who plays John Connor in the Alan Taylor directed reboot. “He’s a pleasure to watch…silly, making jokes and made everyone feel” comfortable.
Wyble also worked on When the Game Stands Tall as the daughter of Jim Caviezel and Laura Dern’s characters. “It was “cool movie parents,” she said of the small role, while noting that it was a “little intimidating” referring to Caviezel who played Jesus in Passion of the Christ.
Teri speaks on her many projects and talks about the powerful advice from her acting teacher which still motivates and helps her today.
