Tea Party Express supports Governor Mike Pence as Trump VP choice
Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, wholeheartedly supports the choice of Indiana Republican Governor Mike Pence as the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee.

Tea Party Express Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Mike Pence, both as Governor and as a member of Congress, has been a steadfast supporter of reducing the size, cost and intrusiveness of government. The Tea Party Express is encouraged that Donald Trump has picked as his running mate a conservative leader that has been at the forefront of reining in an out-of-control big government.
“As a Congressman, Pence was a leader in Congress and led conservatives as the Chairman of the Republican Study Committee and the House Republican Conference. Trump’s selection is a clear indication that Pensce will play a pivotal role in making Congress an integral part of their job-creating agenda.
“With the slowest recovery from a recession in modern history, we need leadership in Washington that will reduce the tax and regulatory burdens that inhibit economic growth. Only by containing the explosive entanglement by the federal government can we achieve the economic growth that will provide far more Americans with the opportunity to realize the American Dream. Pence understands this need and will be a tremendous asset for the American people as Vice Presient,” Russo concluded.
