Tampa: Kevin Skaggs arrested for extortion, demanding sex in exchange for dog
A woman contacted Hillsborough County Sheriffs claiming a Tampa man that she knew demanded sexual favors in order for him to return her dog.
The man, Kevin Skaggs, 36, had been calling and sending her unwanted text messages for months.
Deputies were able to locate Skaggs driving in his vehicle with the dog. The dog was returned to the victim in good health. Skaggs was arrested Friday afternoon for Extortion and Driving with a Suspended License.
The dog was returned to its owner. Skaggs was booked into the Hillsborough County jail, being held without bail.
The names of the woman and her dog were not released by the Sheriff’s Office.
