Tampa: 14-year-old Dallas Robinson arrested for the 15th time
Dallas Robinson is just 14 years old but he was arrested early Wednesday for the 15th time. News reports are now going viral on the Internet as the details have emerged.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies chased the boy in Tampa during the early morning hours because he was riding his bike without a light. Deputies saw Dallas reach for his waistband so one pulled out a gun and ordered the teen to the ground.
They found two loaded guns in the boy’s pants, including a fully loaded Tristar 9mm semi-automatic handgun with one round in the chamber tucked in the front the teen’s pants.
“Approached him as a 14-year-old kid. He took off on foot and deputy runs him down, grabs him by the jacket, as trying to run away and immediately teens swings around starts going for his waistband,” says Larry McKinnon, with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said, Robinson was also wearing an ankle holster that had an extra fully loaded magazine. They took a total of 19 live rounds of ammunition (mixture of hollow points and full metal jacket) from the 14-year-old.
The teen was first arrested when he was just 10 years old, according to HCSO. His previous charges include carrying a concealed firearm, drug charges, grand theft, robbery with a firearm and multiple counts of violation of probation.
The most recent arrest was just 11 days ago on for Violation of Probation on a previous carrying a concealed firearm charge, deputies said.
