A four-year-old girl was found alive amidst the bodies of three people shot dead in a British-registered car in the French Alps, police said overnight 05 September. Three people, believed to be the girl’s mother, father and grandmother, were found dead inside the car. The family are believed to be British holidaymakers, whose description matched that of a family missing from a caravan park in the picturesque Haute-Savoie region. The motive for the attack remains a mystery, according to Annecy prosecutor Eric Maillaud.
