Stephanie Tiro Sitoy of Cebu is crowned Mrs. Philippines Globe 2014
A 43-year-old physician who practices at Cebu Doctors’ University College of Medicine was crowned Mrs. Philippines Globe 2014, besting 22 other women Saturday night at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier in Taguig City.

Representing Cebu, Stephanie Tiro-Sitoy, a pediatrician and mother of three, was also Miss Cebu-Tourism second runner-up in 1994. She is married to a neurologist, Dr. Apollo Sitoy. Dr. Tiro-Sitoy received up to P300,000 worth of prizes and will represent the Philippines at the Mrs. Globe 2014 World Finals at Shenzhen, China.
She responded on her Facebook page saying, “Glorious day …and I offer my crown, my title as MRS. PHILIPPINES-GLOBE to my ever loving Father God.. Thank you so much for the talents you gave me, for the trials that came my way and the life to share..more challenging and fulfilling now and the days come.. All glory to YOU .. I loveeee you.. And to all the angels and saints and Holy Spirit who guide my way.. Thank you”.
Other winners in Saturday’s pageant include Janice Trillo, Woman of Substance 2014; Maria Andrea Geronimo, Celesty Shinagawa Mrs. Celestial Beauty; Sonia Mendoza, first runner-up; Aileen Jane Cavas, second runner-up; Eizza de Baron, third runner-up; and Fe Saligumba, Solane Mother of the Year.
