Star Wars Celebration 2016: ‘Star Wars Rogue One’ poster, new trailer of BTS footage
In London, Gareth Edwards (Director) and Kathleen Kennedy (Producer) kicked off Star Wars Celebration with an exclusive new look at ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY.
They welcomed surprise special guests from the film: Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, John Knoll, Executive Producer and Kiri Hart, Head of Story.
The talented team of filmmakers and actors shared a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming film and debuted a brand-new teaser poster.

Like Force Awakens, Rogue One will have a strong female lead, this time Felicity Jones playing a new character named Jyn Erso. Erso is key to the rebels’ plan to steal the Death Star plans, the same plans carried by Princess Leia in the opening of A New Hope.
An appearance by Darth Vader seems likely, but no Han, Luke or typical lightsaber battles are expected. Forest Whitaker takes center stage as a mysterious character and Jones will be join by a new batch of actors primed for stardom: Jiang Wen, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed and Diego Luna.
Ben Mendelsohn is the new character walking in the long white cape. The was no reveal of Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen and little else in the way of plot.
Fans get their yearly dose of Star Wars as Rogue One arrives in theaters on December 16, 2016.
