‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ star Zachary Quinto open to a return to ‘American Horror Story’

Fans of American Horror Story are clamoring a Zachary Quinto return and the former Heroes star appears willing.

No plans so far, but we’ll see how that goes as the season unfolds,” says the AHS vet, who is currently starring on Broadway in The Glass Menagerie.

Creator Ryan Murphy has returned to previous characters (hence, their actors) as evidenced by American Horror Story: Coven.

Quinto played the unforgettable Dr. Thredson, aka “Bloody Face” and the Star Trek Into Darkness star has always spoken highly of the experience.

“It put me in a position to be able to build a character that people could, at the very least, not question and then maybe on the other side of the spectrum actually trust. And that’s fun, to know that he was withholding and manipulating the situation and serving ulterior motives and keeping secrets. That’s always fun stuff to do as an actor, so for me it was really great to go in with that inclination,” Quinto said in a 2012 HuffPo Interview.

Coven is the third season of the hit show on FX.  The first episode airs October 9, 2013.
