South African man busted with nephews genitals in his wallet- ‘muti’ killing not ruled out

An Eastern Cape, South Africa man caught with his teenaged nephew’s private parts in his wallet has been arrested, police said on Thursday.
The man was being questioned as a suspect about the disappearance of his teenage nephew. Police say the genitals were packed inside his wallet.
The 42-year-old man subsequently took police to Malande Forest in Eastern Cape province where a mutilated body was found, believed to be his 18-year-old nephew.
The 18-year-old went missing in Thebe Locality, Nqobo, on Sunday, according to police.
A police spokesperson told the BBC that the teenager’s head, arms and legs had been chopped off and were found not far from his torso.
A motive for the crime has not been ascertained; however, if the murder and mutilation was committed to sell body parts to witch doctors to make potions has not been ruled out.
There have been widespread reports in South Africa of the illicit sale of human body parts for such purposes.
The man would appear on a murder charge in the Nqobo Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
