1 pitted avocado

1 cup fresh spinach

1 cup milk

One cup milk (unsweetened, nut, cow or soy)

2 tablespoons chia seeds

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups halved cherries, pitted

1 medium size banana, ripe

4 to 5 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients together until very smooth.

This smoothie contains coconut oil which is popular among dieters because of its ability to speed metabolism, helping burn more calories.

Ingredients

1 cup almond or hemp seed milk

½ cup fresh pineapple juice

1 cup fresh frozen pieces

½ frozen banana

1 teaspoon coconut oil

Procedure

Blend all ingredients together and drink

  • Banana Coconut water smoothie

Avocado and hemp seeds both deliver protein in this smoothie. It also contains raw cacao nibs and wheatgrass. This ingredients both deliver magnesium, a chemical element essential for energy production which athletes mostly do not get enough of.

½ banana, chopped and frozen

1 small handful spinach

¼ pitted ripe avocado

1 handful frozen berries

¼ teaspoon wheatgrass powder

1 ½ teaspoon shelled hempseed

¼ cucumber, chopped

1 tablespoon raw cacao nibs

1 cup coconut water or water

Procedure

Chop banana and place it in a freezer bag. Seal it and freeze overnight until it is solid. Put banana in blender and add the remaining ingredients. Blend until it is smooth and creamy, adding a little more water or coconut water if necessary.

  • Mixed berry blast

Thanks to the berry mix, this recipe contains anti-oxidants which are good for weight loss and general well-being.

½ cup hemp seed, almond or coconut milk

½ cup strawberries, fresh or frozen

½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

½ cup blackberries, fresh or frozen

2-3 medjool dates
