Shelley Regner ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ interview, returning with Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks

This summer, the girls of Pitch Perfect are back and Shelley Regner spoke with Dispatch Radio about the new film, returning with co-stars Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks, Hailee Steinfeld and Rebel Wilson.

Having the cast back together for Pitch Perfect 2 was like “a family union…like summer camp,” Regner says of the film, promising “lots more dancing.”

In the exclusive interview, Shelley talks about “the great energy” and “big production” of the sequel to the 2012 hit musical which grossed over $113 million worldwide.

Now the Barden Bellas enter an international competition which no American team has ever won.

“I’m so blessed” and “having fun,” Regner reveals before offering up some “Behind-the-scenes” insight into their “girls’ nights.”

Shelley has a zombie musical titled Bite and a role as the Pink Pony in Bronies: The Musical. She shares some great stories, saying that it’s amazing “what touches…resonates with people” as she explain that her small roles “still effect people.”

“Keep showing up,” were words of advice which still speak to Shelley today, as she would encourage everyone to “not give up on their dream” in “any aspect of your life” and just “keep coming to the game.”
