Sarah Geronimo: Starmometer’s ‘2013 Covergirl of the Year’

The voting is over in the Starmometer 2013 Covergirl of the Year poll and the winner is Sarah Geronimo’s June 2013 Cosmopolitan cover.

The poll, by the Philippine Entertainment website garnered 624,081 total votes cast after the short period polls were open.

Sarah Geronimo’s June 2013 Cosmopolitan cover racked up a total of 293,012 votes (Online ballot and Facebook) and accounted for 47 percent of all votes cast.

Approximately 100,000 votes behind was Angel Locsin’s May 2013 MOD cover. Kim Chiu’s  METRO April 2013 cover just squeaked over 100,000 total votes to come in third place.

Other covers competing in the poll included Anne Curtis – MEGA September 2013, Jessy Mendiola – METRO February 2013, Kathryn Bernardo – PREVIEW August 2013, Marian Rivera – COSMOPOLITAN March 2013 and Megan Young – PEOPLE ASIA December 2013.

In October, Sarah Geronimo came in second place in Starmometer’s annual 100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines poll, following 2013 winner Angel Locsin.

In July, Sarah released her 10th studio album titled “Expressions” that contained mainly original songs that she co-produced herself.
