Sam Worthington says ‘Avatar 2’ waiting on James Cameron, doesn’t expect another ‘Titans’ film
While promoting his surfer film Drift, which is available this summer, Sam Worthington spoke to Collider in a May 2 article about returning for Avatar 2 and Avatar 3, which are rumored to be in pre-production.
Director James Cameron has been vocal about the lack of pressure, working on the scripts and pre-production. Worthington seems, but doesn’t know when they will start filming.
“Whatever Jim [Cameron] wants.”
Fans need to know the Wrath of Titans star does keep in contact with the director.
“I talk to Jim quite often. It’s up to him, when he wants to go. No one is going to tell him when to go.”
The international success of Titans led to the question if there would be a third chapter.
“I don’t think so. I loved working with Ralph [Fiennes] and Liam [Neeson], especially. But, who knows. I’d love to work with those boys again, on something.”
