Roy Garber, reality show star ‘Shipping Wars’ dies from heart attack
Roy Garber, a popular cast member of the reality show Shipping Wars, has died, according to a Facebook post from the show’s official page.
Variety and TMZ report the 49-year-old had a heart attack.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family. Our thoughts are with Roy’s loved ones during this difficult time. He will be missed,” the Facebook post reads, accompanied by a photo of Garber.

The A&E reality show, which follows different carriers who transport items that others traditionally can’t (or won’t), just finished its fifth season.
Garber was the owner/operator of Arbie’s Team Transport in New Hampshire, and he was one of the top earners in the country, according to his cast page on A&E’s website.
Shipping Wars, which debuted to 3 million viewers in Jan. 2012, is produced for A&E by Megalomedia. Jonathan Nowzaradan is exec producer and showrunner.
