Rosie Huntington-Whiteley officially joins ‘Mad Max Fury Road’

Rumored for a part in the film for some time, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has officially joined the cast of George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” as “one of the five wives.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley transformersJust Jared reported on Friday that the former Victoria’s Secret model is officially joined “X-Men: First Class” actress Zoe Kravitz and Riley Keough (“The Runaways”) as the wives and quotes Kravitz’s comments about her character.

“There’s a group of five women being taken from one place to another place, and I’m one of those women. So they call us the five wives. There are five women who are five wives. No, I’m not playing all five wives.”

Huntington-Whiteley made her movie debut in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, replacing Megan Fox as the love interest to Shia LaBeouf’s character.

Also starring in “Fury Road” is Tom Hardy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) who a beard for the Max role  and Charlize Theron (“Prometheus”) who has been spotted this week with a shaved head.

Miller is rumored to be filming “Mad Max: Fury Road” and a fifth film (“Mad Max: Furiosa”) back-to-back, possibly over the course of an entire year.

“Mad Max Fury Road” also stars Nicholas Hoult, Adelaide Clemens and Richard Norton.

There is no official release dates for either film.
