Rosario Dawson confirmed for ‘Daredevil’ season 3, ‘Iron Fist’ season 2

The glue that has held all of the Netflix Marvel shows together has been Rosario Dawson’s Night Nurse, Claire Temple.

She did help bring The Defenders together and is currently in a romantic relationship with Luke Cage. Now, according to a new Tweet, Claire will now be making her return in both Daredevil and Iron Fist.

“EXCLUSIVE: Rosario Dawson will reprise her role as Claire Temple in Netflix’s ‘DAREDEVIL SEASON 3/IRON FIST SEASON 2’ with both shows currently filming in NYC.” –

Both shows are currently shooting in New York City so this makes it easier to get Dawson in as Claire.

Daredevil season 3: As The Defenders ended with Charlie Cox’s Matt buried under the collapsed Midland Circle building. He was presumed dead by Foggy and Karen, but somehow survived and is next seen recovering, a nun at his side.

“Get Maggie!” the nun orders. “Tell her he’s awake.”

Season 3 will be inspired by the acclaimed Born Again comic book arc, which was published back in 1986.

Maggie is the name of Matt’s long-lost mother, and in the Born Again comics arc, she became a nun and nurses Matt back to health after he comes close to death.

Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) also features heavily in the arc, even discovering Daredevil’s true identity – a twist foreshadowed in Daredevil‘s second season, as a jailed Fisk re-examined the cut that an earlier clash with Murdock had left on his lip, seemingly remembered the same damage being inflicted upon him by Daredevil when he was arrested.

Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) are back with Elodie Yung’s reborn Elektra is also expected to feature in some capacity.

Iron Fist season two will again center on Danny Rand (Finn Jones), Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) would be back.

Also returning will be Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Danny’s best friend from K’un-Lun.
