Ron Paul says ‘None of the Above’ for next Fed chair
During the closing of the inaugural episode of the Ron Paul Channel Monday, former Texas Congressman Dr. Ron Paul said the next Federal Reserve chairman should be “NOTA”, of none of the above.
” President Obama is mulling his new Fed Chairman appointment. I’ve come around to believing that the secrecy of the Federal Reserve is much tighter than even the NSA, Paul said.
“We worry about what the NSA has been doing to us, but if we ever knew what the Fed can do to us, and has done to us, there wouldn’t be a Federal Reserve, of course, that’s my position.”
“They’re arguing, who should be the Chairman, Yellin or Summers?”
Neither is Paul’s pick–In fact, he picks “NOTA”, none of the above.
“NOTA should win for the Federal Reserve, because we don’t need a Federal Reserve System”, Dr. Paul says emphatically.
“We didn’t have one up until 1913–We’ve had it now for 100 years and they’ve destroyed 98% of the value of our money.
“Central banking is not to the people’s benefit, it’s to the benefit of a cartel–a banking cartel and a political cartel–and they do it in secret and it is very, very harmful to the middle class because they do this by creating money “out of thin air”, which destroys the middle class and enriches the wealthy.
“Wall Street thrives and the unemployment rates go up.”
Paul continues by saying the Fed needs looking into–but we don’t even have the discussion.
Paul encourages viewers to say NOTA, we don’t need Summers, Yellin or the Federal Reserve.
