‘Rogue One’ trailer offers laughs via K-2SO, more action
The latest tease of Rogue One delivers more laughs and a bigger role for K-2SO, a droid voiced by Alan Tudyk.
“I’ll be there for you,” says K-2SO. “The captain said I had to.”
Entitled “Trust,” the trailer features a number of quips setting a lighter mood for the upcoming adventure set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and a ragtag group of Rebels who try to steal the Empire’s plans to the Death Star before it can be turned into a galactic superweapon.
The new film stars Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on December 16.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure.
