Rock the Universe fans praise and worship God with Jesus Culture

For over a dozen years there has been a Jesus Culture Encounter (conference), but fans at the 2013 Rock the Universe event at Universal Studios Orlando got a crash course in praise and worship with Jesus Culture.

“Pure emotion” said one fan as another stated the key is “Surrender” when asked why this is so powerful.

Singer Chris Quilala asked the crowd is “2 or 3 more was ok” after an hour of constant praise and worship choruses rocked the main stage at universal.

“Come Like You Promised” from their song “Awaken Me” was repeated through the masses as hands swayed in the air with tear spilling down the cheeks of Christians whisper the line “Come fall on us” over and over again.

Jesus Culture is band of talented artists, birthed out of Bethel Church in Redding, California (read more here) but now are acting as the worship leader at events like RTU.

“I Am In Love With You” and “Break Every Chain” was raised up with such passion and abandon that one may be asking how they could carry on to close out their set with “Your Love Never Fails” and “One Thing Remains.”

Many in attendance may have just assumed Jesus Culture would set the table for the Casting Crowns, who closed out the event, but JC truly transformed the crowd.

Fully energized through praise and worship, the believers could go away knowing that they were not just at another concert, but a true prayer meeting to worship God.
