Robert Amaya talks ‘Moms’ Night Out’ ‘Courageous’ ‘Unlimited’ and ‘A Long Way Off’
A new comedy titled Moms’ Night Out joins faith-based films like God’s Not Dead, Heaven Is For Real and Son of God in a busy 2014. Star Robert Amaya spoke with The Global Dispatch/Dispatch Radio about the film.
“Moms’ Night Out is a riot,” he says of the comedy. “It makes you laugh and walk out of there loving and hugging one another”
In the story, Allyson (Sarah Drew) and her friends long for a peaceful, grown-up evening of dinner and talk–a long-overdue “moms’ night out.” But to indulge in high heels, adult conversation, and not having to cut anyone else’s meat, their husbands will need to watch the kids for a few hours. What could go wrong?
“Everything that can possibly go wrong finds a way to go wrong,” he adds.
Robert previews his next few films: Unlimited, A Long Way Off, Altar Egos. Amaya previews each one, so mark your calendar.
He praises his co-star Jason Burkey, who he worked with in October Baby as well as working with legend Fred Thompson.
