Rhode Island Democrat David Cicilline evades questions on gun parts as he wants them banned
Friday morning “Fox and Friends” host Tucker Carlson interviewed Congressman David Cicilline (D-R.I.), an advocate for stricter gun laws, discussing the Democrats’ recent sit-in and then having trouble answering questions about his proposed ban, and more specifically, the functions of the barrel shroud.
Cicilline spouts off the components of a weapon that made it an “assault weapon,” but seemingly cannot discuss the function of what he wants to ban. Carlson pressed the Democrat what a barrel shroud does, but he keeps evading the question.
In fact, when Carlson points out that none of the anti-Second Amendment bills proposed by the Democrats would have prevented the massacre in Orlando, Cicilline responded that it doesn’t matter.
