Representative Dennis Kucinich and 25 other members of Congress send letter to President Obama demanding an explanation over drone strike policy
Not everyone is on board with the Obama administrations use of drone strikes in the “war on terror” including 26 members of Congress (24 Democratic and 2 Republican).
Senator Obama campaigned heartily against George Bush’s Iraq war, President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize–what we have now is a man who uses the faceless drone strikes five times his predecessor. And then their are the “kill lists”, where the President personally selects who will be targeted to die.
The Obama administration drone policy has these 26 members concerned.
A letter from Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich, and signed by 25 other members, asks the President to explain the process by which “signature ” strikes are authorized and other key questions. See the letter below.
