Rep Rob Simpson speaks out against Connecticut gun law VIDEO

Presented below is one of 44 members of the CT House of Representatives who spoke eloquently and intelligently about the anti-gun bill proposal which unfortunately passed and was signed into law.

It is indeed unfortunate that CT did not have the majority of legislators, like Rep. Sampson, to defeat the horrendous unjust law which has just been enacted.

And now since this anti-gun legislation has passed and magazine and gun bans are in effect – let the legal challenges begin.

CT had the opportunity to get this right – but partisan politics and gun control zealots who exploited a horrific tragedy won out in the end. They will tell you that this was Bi-Partisan.. but in fact the supposed party of opposition had “leadership” which could not stand up to tyrants.  They will tell you that this bill could have been worse… that they mitigated the damage… but in truth they only made a bad thing a tad less miserable until the worse legislation comes along at a later date… it is in fact intended to be death by a thousand cuts.

To celebrate this unfortunate debacle – President Obama will be visiting this state on Monday to congratulate Governor Malloy and his tyrannical cohorts in enacting some of the most ineffective and punitive legislation that this state has ever seen. Businesses and citizens will leave this State, crime will surely rise, and good and decent people will be made to pay for the crimes of a madman while their Constitutional Rights for self defense, etc., are eroded.

Worst of all, parents will be afforded an incredible false sense of security while their children attend GUN FREE ZONES in unprotected schools and criminals will have yet another set of laws to ignore. Parents of troubled children will continue to cry for someone to help control their mentally unstable children and be forced to navigate a patchwork of poorly implemented and dis-connected web of mental health services, while another Adam Lanza is in the making.

The propaganda against scary looking guns and their owners and the anti-gun brainwashing will no doubt be continued in the media, the schools, and our society at large until the next set of anti-gun laws are proposed. Because the gun grabbing citizen disarmament Nazis WILL be back for more.

It is indeed a very sad day for Liberty and the preservation of Constitutional Rights in this great state!
